Fall Ideas

With Fall and Halloween just around the corner I thought it would be fun to post Fall and Halloween  ideas for you all the month of September so starting tomorrow I will announce the name of the winner of Srcap-N-Away's Fall Contest and post my first Fall idea for you.

Want a sneak peak? Look at this Beautiful Pumkin I saw (sorry don't remember who's blog.....sure wish I could give them credit.) I love that all you have to do is take an old nylon and put it over your pumpkin and add a little bling and Viola on gorgeous PUMPKIN. You can bet I will be making some of these this year!!!

I made Creative Kuts Harvest Train for today's blog hop. I love making Creative Kuts trains to use for decoration on my entertainment center during the Holidays.

Since it's still Summer out and I'm not ready to start decorating for Fall I've just taken a picture of the train out side. The train is 3 1/2' long and 14" high When I get ready to put it on my entertainment center I will add

some large maple trees, corn stalks and bails of hay.

Since I don't have the Harvest Train set up I wanted to show you how cute it will look all set up. I made the Christmas Train last year, here it is all set up on top of the entertainment center. This train is 4' long and the trees are 16" tall.

I used the following files for the Christmas Train

Engine

Polar Car

Family Car

Sweet Shop Car

Woodland Car

Workshop Car

Company,company and more company

It's been super busy around here My cousin from Florida was here visiting his Dad and Mom so they came up to visit then I left that night to go pick up my four youngest grandson's for Spring Break.

Took them home and spent Easter with my son and his family in Pismo. My son did all the cooking it was fabulous!

Easter afternoon my nephew called me and wanted to know if I could pick him up at the Bakersfield Amtrak. I haven't seen him in three years. He came and stayed for a few days. It was so nice to see him....he is always so busy. He is working and going to school to finish his teaching credentials. He starts teaching in the fall.

My nephew and I meet my Aunt and cousin in in Ventura to go Whale Watching. We had a great time but didn't see any whales. We did see hundreds of dolphins :) My cousin wanted to see snow so he came up and stayed a couple of days.

Everyone left except for my son who is redoing our deck just in time for the retreat to start on Thursday. Only half of the girls where able to make it due to the 5 closing and road conditions. The ones who made it where hoping to get snowed in but it's beautiful out today, the sun is shinning and the roads are clear.

Spring Break

I'm so excited.....today is the first day of Spring Break for my grandson's and I get to go pick them up so they can spend a week with me!!!! I have so many things planned to do with them I hope we have time to get them all in. They all get to pick a night to make what ever they want to cook for dinner so I made this layout
using Creative Kuts file A #1 Chef I can't wait to put their pictures on it. I just need to make 3 more of them so there is one for each of them :) Thanks for stopping by and be sure and leave me a comment I love hearing from you. Have a great day!!!!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday everyone!!! I want to thank those of you that stopped by the Hop this weekend. Here is the winner
