I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have been there for Mark and I in this difficult time. We have really appreciated it. My Mom passed away on Sunday. I am at peace with it. She has suffered for a long time with Parkinson's and it's a nice to know she is now longer suffering. Her services will be on Friday June 19 so the family will all be coming soon.
Mark's Dad had back surgery on Tuesday. He is in the convalescent hospital recuperating. Everything seem to have gone well. I stopped in and saw him on my way back to the retreat.
I also wanted to say a special thank you to the group of girls who were here on Sunday when I found out my Mom passed. Thank you for all your help and all the extra special things you did for Mark and I. You have no idea how much it meant to us both.
I'm still not sure how my son is doing. He is taking this very hard. I just received another phone call from his wife today saying she is still awfully worried about him. He tells me he's fine but she doesn't think he is. Please keep him in your prayers.
It's time to get ready for this weekends retreat so I better run. I know many of you have been wondering about my Mom. Thanks again for being there!

I'm so sorry for your loss, may God hold you close to His heart during this time. It's nice to know that you and your mom were able to have so much time together during the final days of her life.
I will keep both of you in my prayers (and Mark's dad too). Don't forget to take some time for yourself too.
